In this observational class, you will become skilled in the art of seeing and proficient in drawing what is before you. Emphasis will be placed on simplification of the figure, accurate blocking-in of elemental shapes, and sensitive rendering of light and shadow. You will be introduced to the basics of anatomy and develop a strong understanding of the elements and principles that are the foundation of art-making.
